Adam J. Witmer
Adam focuses his practice on litigation matters, both civil and criminal. He also has extensive experience in estate planning, disability issues, and municipal law.
Adam began his legal career in Philadelphia. There, he first concentrated on complex racketeering litigation, civilly suing individuals and entities (including lawyers, chiropractors, and pretend victims) who conspired to fake automobile accidents and then bill for bogus treatment for non-injuries. Adam also worked in mass tort litigation, defending manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies against product liability lawsuits.
Adam's experience includes over 15 years' worth of litigation throughout Pennsylvania, including counties such as Philadelphia, Centre, Clearfield, Clinton, Lehigh, Blair, Huntingdon, Somerset, Berks, Tioga, Northumberland, Mifflin, and others. He has successfully represented clients, both plaintiffs and defendants, in a variety of civil litigation matters.
Adam also has a thorough knowledge of the criminal defense process, and he routinely represents clients facing criminal charges. He has helped first-time, non-violent offenders navigate the ARD process, but has also represented other clients facing more serious felony and/or misdemeanor charges such as burglary, assault, and various drug-related offenses.
Among his other activities, Adam is an active member of several community volunteer organizations, and serves as a cantor in his church. Adam lives with his family in Kutztown.
